かなり大型の道の駅で、さながら高速道路のSAのようでした！

こちらの株売りされているお野菜、実はセロリなんです。
一般的にセロリというと、スーパーに並べられている姿は加工済のものが多いのですが、こちらの道の駅では収穫された株の状態でそのまま購入することができます。
鮮度が良いことはもちろんですが、実際に食べてみると繊維が少なく、甘くて美味しい！調理なんてしなくても、マヨネーズを付けて野菜スティックにするだけでバクバク食べれちゃいます！こんなに美味しいセロリが食べれるのは道の駅『みやま』ならではですね！
1点、セロリは寒い時期の野菜のため、11月～6月しか取り扱っていないため、注意してください！
フードコートが充実！
フードコートが充実しているのも特徴的です。
こちらの道の駅は平日も人が多く訪れる人気の道の駅ですが、その人数を全員収容できるようなフードコートは、地元の食材を扱ったお店に限らず、色々なお店が出店されていて目移りしてしまいます。
しかも、どのお店も美味しいと評判なのが嬉しい！食べるもので悩むのって幸せな悩みですよね。
『玉めし』は絶品でした！
著者はそのなかでも『秘密のケンミンショー』などのテレビで紹介されていた『玉めし』をいただきました。タレで味付けされたおにぎりの中に半熟卵が入っていて、まさに絶品！
おみやげ用に10個入り2,200円で販売されていたので、追加で購入してしまいました！
