『神楽亭』の豊後牛が旨すぎる！
道の駅内にテナントとして入っている神楽亭では、豊後牛が食べれるということで大賑わいでした。土日は行列が出来るほどなので、早めに伺った方がいいかもしれませんね。
ブランド牛を使用しているのにもかかわらず、リーズナブルな価格で色々な料理が提供されているのが魅力的です。その価格には自信があるのか、店頭でメニューの写真と価格が確認できるのも良心的で助かりますね。
ステーキ丼は、質のいいお肉が絶妙な焼き加減で提供され絶品です。肉の脂の甘味と酸味のあるソースとわさびのアクセントが見事にマッチしています。それだけでなく、サラダ、キムチ、テールスープがついて大満足の一品でした。

『からあげ きよかわ』のからあげは地元の人イチオシ！
昭和４５年（１９７０年）の創業当時から地元の大分民から絶大な支持を得ているからあげ屋さんです。
「唐揚げ」というと一口サイズを思い浮かべますが、「きよかわ」は骨つきを丸々揚げていて、揚げたてを両手でもって一口かぶりつくと、カリカリの皮にしっかりとついた塩味、二口目で中の肉汁が溢れだす。一度食べるとやみつきになる味でした。
「味の命は揚げ方」ということで、永年の経験から毎日気温に合わせて揚げ方を変えているんだとか。
道の駅とセットでぜひ楽しみたいですね。
